Santa visited Helensburgh’s Tesco Express store recently, where he was joined by a very special guest.
MSP Jackie Baillie visited the Sinclair Street retailer, to lend her support to Tesco’s Winter Food Collection and Toy Bank appeal.
She joined Store Manager, Ruhel Majunder, and Santa Claus himself to oversee the collection, destined for community organisations.
Tesco’s Festive Food collection accepts donations of groceries, whilst customers and residents were asked to gift a toy suitable for youngsters aged newborn to 16, set to be distributed to needy residents ahead of the Christmas period.
Dumbarton constituency MSP, Jackie Baillie, said: “I am delighted to back Tesco’s Winter Food Collection and Toy Bank appeal, which will benefit the worst off residents in Helensburgh and Lomond this Christmas.
“I commend the efforts of both Tesco and Helensburgh’s store staff in collating this appeal to help our communities.”
